About JMS Events and Workshops

JMS Events and Workshops specializes in producing student performances, assemblies, civics seminars, and training sessions that blend creativity with purpose. Founded by Joe Malachi Silberstein, JMS unites more than three decades of experience in music, education, and event production to design engaging opportunities where young people, educators, and communities can shine.

Joe has produced over a hundred live events: from school talent shows and arts showcases to civic engagement workshops and community concerts. His expertise lies in helping students and educators bring performance-based learning to life through thoughtful planning, artist collaboration, and a deep understanding of how music and creativity can inspire growth and bring people together.

Through his experience as a social studies teacher, department head, team leader, activities manager, and project coordinator, Joe has facilitated meetings and professional development sessions for numerous schools over the years. In addition to civics seminars for elections, JMS offers training workshops on event planning and managing after-school programs. He brings clarity and focus to every session—crafting experiences that keep participants engaged, encouraging every voice to be heard, and ensuring that the content connects meaningfully to real outcomes.

Whether coordinating a student showcase for a school, producing a civics-themed seminar, or facilitating a training session, JMS Events and Workshops delivers experiences that educate, empower, and inspire.
